From locking the master to release day — this is the exact timeline we run for our own campaigns. Save it, screenshot it, use it.
W6Lock the Master & Assets
Six weeks out, the song is finished — mastered, final, untouchable. Cover art done, metadata ready, credits confirmed. Everything after this week is promotion, not production.
W5Upload to Distribution
Deliver to your distributor with at least four weeks of lead time. This unlocks the Spotify editorial pitch window and makes sure your release actually lands on the date you promised.
W4Pitch & Build the Content Bank
Submit your editorial pitch through Spotify for Artists. Then shoot everything: teasers, snippets, behind-the-scenes, visualizer clips. You want a bank of content so release month never goes quiet.
W3Announce
Cover art reveal, release date, pre-save link live. This is the official start of the public campaign — from here, your audience should see the song coming every few days.
W2Escalate
Tease the hook. Post snippets. Get the song in the hands of curators, tastemakers, and anyone with an audience. Push the pre-save daily without apologizing for it.
W1Countdown & Release
Final countdown content, then release day: everything everywhere at once — stories, posts, reels, a link in every bio. Then keep going. The two weeks after release decide how far the song travels.
Or skip the guesswork and let us run it for you. Start a campaign.
